Broken Beyond Repair

Beautiful Younger Soul,

LIFE

Broken beyond repair

Violated and left completely and utterly bare

Beaten and left crying in anguished despair

Lord, where are you? Do you not hear me? How unfair!

Psalm 69:1–3

Life has a way of being utterly cruel. It breaks you, violates you, and beats you black and blue. You are left with bruises raw and bare. Feeling unworthy, not good enough and beyond repair. Lord, where are you? Do you not hear me? How unfair! I know it feels as though He is silent and can’t hear you, but one day you will look back and realize that He is the one that held and rocked you. My dear younger soul, bring your hurt to the foot of His cross, and watch how He transforms you from a little to a lot. That void you are feeling that has left you grim…. It can only be filled and made whole in Him.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I pray that you give your daughter eyes to see and a heart to understand, that you have always been with her from the beginning and will be until the end. Let her know Lord that she can always bring her burdens and pain to you, and that the old has passed and that she is a creation made anew (2 Corinthians 5:17). In Jesus name, Amen.

Love,

Older & Much Wiser You
