Want to submit and share your soul letter or letters? Here is what you need to know.

 

PRAY about it. Then, PRAY about it some more. Finally, PRAY about it. Let the Holy Spirit guide you as you pen or type your letter. Let Him flow and whisper every word into your heart. As you write your letter, you might experience emotions that you thought were gone. Allow the emotions and the tears to flow, but most importantly, allow the Holy Spirit to heal those areas. This letter is not just for the readers, but this letter will bring healing to your soul. The letter is your story, but allow God to be the writer. He writes the best stories.

As you're writing your letter, there are a few things you'll want to remember.

1. The letter must be submitted directly through our Heart Letter Submission Form or by email in a Word document

2. Pick a subject you want to write about. Here are some subjects:

   • Abuse (emotional, mental, physical)

   • Addictions

   • Eating disorders

   • Faith

   • Finances

   • Identity

   • Illness

   • Loss of a loved one

   • Love

   • Marriage

   • Mental health

   • Motherhood

   • Relationships (family, friends, coworkers, etc.) 

   • Singleness 

   • Traumatic experiences 

3. Include a title with a maximum of 30 characters, including spaces.

4. Include a Bible verse or verses. You can include as many verses as you want, but pick one that will be in the letter's footer. Only the verse chosen for the footer will not be part of your word count.

5. DO NOT include names. All letters are anonymous. This is your letter and your story, but it must exclude all names for privacy reasons.

6. The signature of ALL letters must be “OLDER & MUCH WISER YOU”

7. Submit directly through our Heart Letter Submission Form or by email to letterstomyyoungersoul@gmail.com with your attached Word document and the TERMS & CONDITIONS for Writers agreement paragraph signed.

 

Once we receive your submission, it will go through a decision process. You may submit more than one letter at a time. Please understand that multiple submissions DOES NOT guarantee all letters will be accepted. Here at LETTERS TO MY YOUNGER SOUL, God has the last decision.

 

1. Once we receive your submission, we will send you a notification of receipt. We will begin to PRAY for your letter until God prompts us to the next step.

2. If your letter gets approval, we will notify you with the next steps, which might include changes for clarification purposes.

3. Your letter might take time to be posted online. Be patient. We are on God's timing.

 

Please read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS for Writers carefully before submitting. A signed agreement for EACH letter must be included in your submission email; this is for our mutual protection. Also, please read our PRIVACY DISCLAIMER to understand what will happen to your letter after submission.
